I am 23 and losing hair like crazy. What can I do? HELP!?

I am 23 and losing hair like crazy? I just had my second child 3 months ago, if that has anything to do with it. Before I got pregnant I would lose hair all the time but not like this. What can I do?

It could be genetic, or a result of an illness. The longer you wait...the more you will lose.

Hormonal problems may cause hair loss. If your thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, your hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be helped by treatment thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, known as androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.

Many women notice hair loss about 3 months after they've had a baby. This loss is also related to hormones. During pregnancy, high levels of certain hormones cause the body to keep hair that would normally fall out. When the hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels, that hair falls out and the normal cycle of growth and loss starts again.

Some medicines can cause hair loss. This type of hair loss improves when you stop taking the medicine. Medicines that can cause hair loss include blood thinners (also called anticoagulants), medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants.

Certain infections can cause hair loss. Fungal infections of the scalp can cause hair loss in children. The infection is easily treated with antifungal medicines.

Finally, hair loss may occur as part of an underlying disease, such as lupus or diabetes. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so that it can be treated.

jeez, it could be something in your diet or the lack there of. Go to the doctor, and figure it out! there are a lot of treatment options. Im not sure how much hair you are losing, but it is not unusual to loose it in the winter time as a shedding kinda thing

It is normal to lose your hair after giving birth... I lost so much that I dreaded brushing my hair. What can you do? Not sure, but I did notice that after getting pregnant again, my hair got stronger. The hair loss will stop by the time your baby is a year old.

This is a problem that likely has to do with your diet. Sounds like your body has become a toxic place, meaning your body is screaming out to be fed nutritious whole foods and be cleansed of toxins. Parasites, chemicals, and waste are clouding your system and causing these unfortunate side effects.

You need to go on an all organic diet of whole fruits and veggies, herbal teas, and nutrient rich organic proteins. You should also think about how your body "eliminates" waste. Hair loss is most often caused by a back-up of waste in the system. When the body has a difficult time eliminating, then old, rancid waste just sits rotting in your system. The natural side effect is clogged pores, acne, dark bags under your eyes, horrible breath, bloating, brittle nails, hair breakage and HAIR LOSS.

Put yourself on an all organic diet and see a colonist immediately.
