Try contacting a doctor to see what's wrong.

You may overproduce testosterone. You can get this tested also. Even though you don't have a thyroid problem, get your level checked, because even a low level, as opposed to a deficit, can cause symptoms.

TJ, that is so right! I love a bald man. It does look sooo good, plus you get that seriously I am who I am attitude. Yummy.

Lots of air or just a little bit? It's normal to lose some in the shower. Ever step out and see it in the drain? Thats normal but if your losing to much see your dr and if they cant help you they can refer you to one that can.

As everybody else is saying...check it out with your doctor. If nothing comes of this, you may need to do something more radical but potentially quite cool: accepting yourself and doing what you can with what you have to look good. I also lost my hair early and was also very embarrassed. I went to many doctors but none could help. Eventually I tried a hair replacement technique (really just a wig). This was okay for a while but sometimes people could tell that it wasn't real (especially if it needed to be replaced but I hadn't replaced it yet). Once a girl I liked tried to run her fingers through my fake hair...very very embarrassing and hardly romantic. I even had nightmares about it partly detaching itself in the wind. But here is the good bit and it is very cheap...just SHAVE IT ALL OFF. Some women even think it is sexy. They like touching my bald head. Its neat and tidy, no pillow hair, no hat hair, no bad hair days, no worries mate! I shave it by hand with a hand razor...a real mean and close shave. I don't even have to use a mirror so it becomes very easy. It is very freeing once you can accept it and then you can concentrate on more important things.
