probably mange, you are going to have to take him to your vet.

He really should be seen by a vet. Hair loss like that can be anything from a simple rash to a contagious fungus. Let the vet know before hand that your dog can be aggressive. They should be able to find a way to accommodate your dog.

More than likely if the skin is red and bumpy there's something going on that you can't fix. Because correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure you've tried neosporin, right? If it doesn't work, it could be bacterial, a fungus or most likely a parasite.

And who would want to have to suffer with the worlds itchiest mouth????

Be responsible and at least start off with a phone call.

Medicine to treat most of the things I listed is fairly inexpensive and completely worth it!!!!!

I'd have to know its age and breed.

He might have a rash or skin infection. Take him to the vet A.S.A.P

Might be demodectic mange. You'll have to take the dog to the vet to have a scraping done. Let the vet know in advance that your dog is a biter and they will tell you how to prepare for the exam. They will probably insist on a muzzle.

could be mites, also check his genital area and bottom as this is where the mites like best, hence the hair loss around his mouth due to licking himself,

could also be chin acne like cats get if he eats from a plastic bowl so try changing to a metal or ceramic one.
