As a vet myself here is my advice.

There still young so there loosing some of there hair and devoloping new hair, longer hair. Its common and its like chicks, there loose there fuzzy hair to devolpe new feathers. If you start seeing scabing around those areas, see a local vet.

Have it checked for Ringworm.

its mange.

used motor oil works.

btw, you don't need to bother your vet for every little thing, especially fuzzless ears. if it is mange, the oil will work quickly. put a little elizabethian collar on it so it won't try to groom the area and ingest the oil.

...and i got this tidbit from a vet YEARS ago.

geez, chill HQ.

Wow! That sounds awful. :( Hair loss could be a sign of worms or something worse. Don't look for hurbs, contact a vet!

Good luck! :)

something similar to this happened to my cat. The vet determined that it was due to stress from a move and also from the low humidity air and dry skin. Is it turning winter where you are? maybe that has to do with it for your cat too.

That sounds like ringworm or mange. Get them checked out at the vet's immeadiately.

Sounds like what happened with mine when they got ringworm. I'd take them to the vet and get it checked.

Take the one that is the worse to the Vet and get medication. It is hard to self medicate a cat as they do wash themselves and will ingest anything you may put on it... better safe than sorry.

Now, if you want some more kitties got 4 strays that were feral that they told me I couldn't tame.. well, I am working on it.. (about 6 months old now).. hahahaha The last little poly dactyl that is starting to come around is the first one I saw.. gorgeous little long haired calico.

GOOD LUCK

CALL YOUR VET!!! does it occur to anyone on here asking these questions to call their vet? it amazes me how many irresponsible pet owners there are out there. and don't use the excuse that you can't afford to take the cat to the vet. if you can't afford a vet, you shouldn't have gotten the cat/kitten to begin with!
