did u switch up her diet? at 5 weeks the pups are feeding more and more because they're not weaned yet. You should be feeding her more food spread out a few times a day - preferrably high quality puppy food so she can get the nutrients. the puppies are sucking her dry thus she is losing her hair. When my dog had a litter of pups, I always kept food around for her. Once the pups are weened then u want to slower lower the amount of food you give her back to normal

Some dogs, if they have a big litter, or they aren't fed quality food, or the litter is fairly hard on them, will shed quit a bit after they whelp their litter. The coat gets thing.. Feed a good quality food.. Give her time to get healthy again and her hair will come back.

It is normal for dog to lose hair. I had the same problem with my dog. Just put some olive oil on the her food, it will get better in three weeks.

No problem. I was worried too, but now she has better hair then ever.

It is normal for mothers to lose hair after whelping. It is very common and there's nothing to worry about. It might take 3-4 months to grow back, but it will grow back. Just make sure she has good food to eat and she will be fine.

Yes that is completely normal for your dog to loose her entire coat. She won't be bald but will be close to it. The hair will be very thin and you'll be able to see her skin through her thin hair. Its actually called "Blowing their coat". This happens to most all dogs a couple weeks after they give birth. I think it's because from all the nursing they are doing the puppies are taking the extra nutrients from the mother and the mother is going through hormonal changes.
