My yorkie really thin, poor apetite, itching and losing hair?

whats wrong with her? she has her vegetarian dogfood, we have dog shampoo thats hypoallergenic for her, i give her amino vitamins twice a day. she is a picky eater, cant see her eating her dog food much, but i see her eating out other yorkie's puppy food. shes really thin and her hair doesnt seem to be growing fully compared to our other yorkie who is only 6 months. shes itching alot and rubs her back on the sofa all the time. but then again, shes not sick because shes really active and play all the time. nothing wrong in behavior.

i took her to the vet already and she said she might be sensitive to flavored treats, food or her shampoo may not be right for her. but ive already changed her shampoo and given her vitamins nothings happening!

I would think the vegetarian dog food would be the problem. She should be on a high quality food with meat as the first couple of ingredients. She should also have omega fatty acids too. You might consider testing for allergies and see if your vet recommends any anti-histimines. Food and supplement changes can take 1-2 months to see improvement.

Please feed her the same puppy food that you are feeding the puppy it won't hurt her . Her body seems to need things she is not getting in the food you are feeding her and it sounds like she's allergic to something you are feeding her. Stop feeding her all that stuff and feed her the same thing you are feeding the puppy and see if that helps.(Two Weeks) Dogs are omnivores a vegetarian diet and all those pills could be her problem. If no improvement on puppy food, let the vet put her on whatever diet he thinks she needs.

dogs are not vegetarian, they need meat among other things, but like TKS said, you need to find a high quality dog food with meat! I am surprised that your vet didnt put 2 and 2 together, unless you didn;t tell him that, you really need to educate yourself about what is good for dogs to eat and learn about the great dog foods out there, but please change your food right away, don;t wait one more day, this is so important for you and your dog
