MY MICE ARE LOSING HAIR AROUND THEIR EYES. What's happening to them?

I have 6 mice in a cage about 2' x1' x 18". They are all females ranging in age from 1 to 2 years and get along well. We feed them mouse food unless we run out in which case we give them grapes, nuts, cerial, + graham crackers. All of them are losing fur around their eyes and mouth and one has a small hairless line across her back. They seem to be in good health otherwise.

Hi Krishna...it may be possible the mice are allergic to one of the items they are exposed to such as graham crackers, cereal, bedding, etc). Consider another type of bedding such as Carefresh (nothing with pine or cedar) and also sticking to a strict diet for that is ideal for the mice and see if their fur loss ceases. Because it is occurring to all of the mice makes me suspect of one of these items.

If this continues this could require a veterinary evaluation to treat all the mice. Consider also giving your a veterinarian a ring and they can ask you a series of questions to determine if this is easily remedied or the mice needs medical treatment.
