No it actually plumps up each individual hair strand to make your hair feel fuller. Lots of my clients with fine hair get color or highlights to give them more volume.It works.

Although sometimes if you use a temporary color over hair many times you may get a build up on the hair.This happens because temporary is meant to wash out in so many shampoos.It just lays on the hair strand instead of penetrating it.(which makes your color permanent)

Not for me. My hair always feels thicker, healthier and fuller after I dye my hair. And it becomes easier to straighten, too.
