Lately I have been losing a lot of hair; I leave strands of hair where ever I go and a lot of strands come out when I shower. I dont know if I'm losing it from a specific area or not, strands just keep coming out. I've lost hair in my teens also when combing but I dont know if that is normal and it has gotten worse. My hair still looks healthy but if I hold it in a ponytail it feels less thicker than what it was before. I tried searching online for a cause and am very afraid of it being something I cannot cure. I dont know if it is genetic because my father has a bald spot on his head but both of my brothers do not have hair loss and my grandfather (father's side) still has his hair. I dont have a very healthy diet and have not been getting enough sleep due to exams but I am not sure if that is what is causing it because it has gotten worse and I never really had a good diet. What kind of foods would help my hair ? Also, would calcium pills help? or some other type of vitamins? Thanks!
20 year old female losing hair? please help??
I suggest you talk to a Dr, about this problem, It could be diet, it could a thyroid problem , which they may be able to do something about. either way, eat more fresh fruits in vegetables, you can't go wrong there, drink plenty of water and don't pull your hair back to roughly or tightly into the pony tail, that doesn't help.
