Help me! I'm losing hair.?

I really think I'm losing more hair than I should be. I'm 15, and I don't want to be a baldy! Anyway, is it natural that like...when you take a bath, hair comes out on your hand. Or when your fixing your hair or just running your fingers through it. My mom is like trying to assure me that I'm not losing my hair, but I'm so scared. I even started crying today. I dunno maybe its just all in my head. Give me some reasons as to why I could be losing my hair?

Well if you blow dry or straighten your hair that damages it which causes it to fall out. Use Sunsilk anti fall. It really helps I started using it and my hair falls out a lot less. I went through what you are going through not too long ago. My mom also told me it was nothing to worry about but I did something to change it.

When you take a bath or shower, hair should not come out unless your are deep massaging your scalp. (that helps hair growth by loosening dead hair...hence the loss of hair...but it shouldn't be a lot.)

To keep hair from falling out, I recommend pantene pro-v anti-breakage shampoo and conditioner. it really works.

I also recommend putting olive oil on your hair and wrapping it up before bed once a week. rinse it out the next morning of course. if your hair really is damaged, you will see a tremendous change within a month. olive oil keeps your hair moisturized which prevents hair loss and promotes growth.

Hope that helps. :]]

Do you straighten your hair and use heated object's, if so stop and have you recently dyed or changed shampoo or conditioner if so stick to what you have used before. If you are really worried book yourself in at the doctors.

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
